We must stand for the most defenseless in our world. Stand for the unborn children that are murdered by abortion, which kills over a million of them in the United States every year. We are commanded by Christ to take action and defend them! Catholic Answers has a special two day promotion that ends today. They are selling small booklets that educate people on Gods truth about abortion. The are selling ten booklets for $10. I will be buying some to go door to door for the upcoming presidential election to hand them out and encourage people to consider this matter when they vote. Read this letter that finishes fittingly with our calling from God. This is what we are up against brothers. We must stay united to Christ and the Catholic Church he established. It is are only hope. We cannot get discouraged. Trust in Jesus. He makes all things possible.

A table of 8 is $600 and a table of 10 is $700. We can easily split the cost evenly for a table of 10. Even 2 tables if we took our significant others. Lets put our faith in action brothers.
On January 18th, thousands upon thousands of people will gather together in Washington D.C. for the 46th annual March for Life, and many others will attend pro-life events across the nation in the coming days. These pro-lifers gather to speak up for the 60 million lives that have been lost in the United States since Roe v Wade. They march to remember the moms and dads who have suffered from the pain of abortion. They walk with the vision of a culture of life, one where every child is welcomed with love and protected by law.
Even if you can’t attend in person, you can still participate in bringing about a culture of life from home. This Friday, we will pray and fast to show our solidarity with the March for Life. You might choose other works of charity or exercises of piety to take the place of fasting and abstinence, especially if you are physically or mentally ill, pregnant or nursing, or otherwise unable to fast from food. Here are just a few of examples of alternative fasting:
Fast from complaining
Drink only water – no coffee, soda, etc.
Pray a Memorare each hour of the day for a specific intention
Fast from television or internet use – instead, spend that time in prayer or spiritual reading
Be extra cheerful during the day, and smile at everyone you meet
Do extra household chores, or tackle some of the chores that you hate the most
Refrain from eating out or having your favorite meal – instead, eat a nutritious meal that isn’t your first choice
Take a cold or lukewarm shower
Give up music in the car
Get out of bed right away, or get up a half hour earlier than usual
Encourage your wife and children to join you.
Franciscan Peacemakers is selling items at the Waukesha farmer's market to help sex trafficking victims. Help is needed setting up the booth this Saturday and I am unable to make it. Can one of you please consider helping so Deb doesn't have to do it by herself. She gets there between 6:45 and 7:00 in the morning to set up and it takes about half an hour. There are completely reliant on divine providence to assist people in need at difficult times in their lives. They can always use assistance with clothing, pampers, formula and monetary donations. They encourage breast feeding but do provide Gerber Good Start Gentle formula and any donated clothing items not given to families they are assisting is taken to St. Vincent, who pays them for the clothing items by the pound. When you are able, please help with the items they provide. I recently gave them clothing items, children toys and pampers. My family and I were given a tour of the place recently and I encourage you all to help them in any way you can. The Waukesha location information is below.

There are wonderful parishioners, called the Care Ministry, from the Catholic Community of Waukesha that are willing to bring the sacrament of the Eucharist to those parishioners unable to get to Mass because they are homebound or in a skilled nursing facility.
